BIRMINGHAM, Alabama The Samford University cross country team opened its 2014 season as both the men and women took part in the Samford-Alabama Dual Meet on Friday, August 29 at Veteran's Park.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. The Samford University men's and women's cross country teams are tabbed to finish fourth and third per the Southern Conference's preseason coaches' poll. The Samford men also received one first-place vote in the poll.
